(I am posting part of our pastor’s encouraging words to his flock today.)
I pray that we shall all seek the grace of our Savior, so that we may know how much God loves us, is watching over us for good, is working all things together for our good, now and in heaven forever.
Look up and see him as he walked as the man of sorrows — he knows our grief and temptations.
Look up and see him crucified, bearing our judgment, removing our curse, and reconciling us to God our Father.
Look up and see him resurrected, the Conqueror of sin and death, the Justifier of God’s elect.
Look up and see him interceding for us in heaven, opening heaven for us, making the throne of God’s dread majesty a throne of grace, a place of refuge, a place where we can unburden our souls to God and find fresh strength to fight the good fight and finish our warfare.
Look up and see him returning — the glory that will be revealed when we see him, the privileges and honor that await the believer when we see Jesus.
Look up and have your countenance lightened, encouraged, all because we look to Him, the light of the world (Ps. 34:5).
Amen, Frances! Have a blessed Resurrection Day.

Wonderful post. Praise the Lord that He lives. And, one day, we will look up and see Him coming to claim us for Himself. Have a blessed Resurrection Day.
