The following sermon, based on Luke 6:1-11, helps to explain why the Christian Sabbath was changed to the first day of the week. It all relates to the authority of Jesus Christ as Lord of the Sabbath;
And He said to them, βThe Son of Man is also Lord of the Sabbath.”
Luke 6:5
In Christ Alone
I so like this man’s preaching! What is his name? And what is the name of the church and where is it? Thank you for posting, Frances. May the Lord bless you richly!

You are welcome ~ my pleasure. I noticed that I misspelled Chris’s name. i am so used to typing Christ that I don’t know that I add the t to his name which I done before.

I need to do a better job of proofing and editing. The correction with the extra s and the lower casement i was worse than the first one. Praise the Lord, we can laugh at these kinds of mistakes. π

Yes we can laugh at our writing minor mistakes. I crack myself up over mine often! No matter how much editing and proofing. π

Tremendous blessings even though our pastor and his family were not with us, which is rare. But the Lord was there and with us the remainder of the day. Blessings for your week. Are you working on the word BLOOD?
